A Florence Dream of History and Love: A Wedding at Villa Gamberaia

The day began in the luxurious suites of the Westin Excelsior in Florence. Among gilded stucco and breathtaking views of the Arno River, capturing the bride and groom’s emotions was magical. The large windows and Renaissance furnishings provided perfect lighting for editorial portraits and for candids intimate moments.

The elegant wedding took place just a few steps from the luxury hotel in the Church of Ognissanti: In the heart of Florence, this baroque church hosted a solemn and deeply felt Catholic ceremony. Getting married surrounded by masterpieces by Botticelli and Ghirlandaio adds an artistic depth that only a city like Florence can offer.
For the grand finale, we moved to Settignano. Villa Gamberaia isn’t just a location; it’s one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Its panoramic terraces and famous water garden provided the perfect backdrop for a “very much in love” couple, providing unforgettable sunset shots overlooking the entire Arno Valley.
