“Closer” is the story of an emotional wedding day in Tuscany.
Hugs, too many hugs maybe? No, hugs are never too many in my book. Especially living in this period with the Covid-19 emergency I could realize how much hugs are important to me, and how much is important to get closer to people you love. This is why I chose to show on my site this emotional wedding in Tuscany [full of hugs]. I could see so much love through this couple, Camilla and Pawel.
During the post-production, I even noticed that there was a big heart designed by all guests getting together during their group pictures: wow! is Love so evident sometimes? I’m not a good director. I help a little bit to break the ice but I don’t like to say to people what to do especially during their wedding day. I’m curious to see and capture what people can show me.
I want to be able to read their emotions and capture their unique nature. C&P are two swing dancers, art lovers, and a free-spirited couple. Their union is powerful, emotional, and passionate.
A brief story of the day. “Closer” is an emotional wedding in Tuscany.
When I arrived at Convento di Montepozzalli Camilla was arranging her wedding flowers and her mother, sister, and maid of honor were helping her. Camilla picked also some of her favorite wildflowers in the fields nearby to compose her bouquet. Then all the guests started to arrive and when Pawel came everyone started to run all over the place to find the right room to start dressing up… I said to myself “I’m in the right place – I love this wedding!”
Time to get “Closer”. [Get] “Closer” in front of the mirror getting ready for the day. [Get] “Closer” in the car running to the ceremony. [Get ]“Closer” hugging each other, finally together. Dance and get “Closer”… to love.
